History of our Apples:
The original apple orchard was planted in 1972 by James Hamilton. The orchard was composed of 4 varieties: Red Delicious, Yellow Delicious, McIntosh and Rome.
Rick Hamilton, son of James and brother of Ron, took over as caretaker of the apple orchard in 1998. Rick and his wife, Deb, have been adding to the orchard every year since then. The orchard now has 15 varieties of trees including:
- Cameo
- Cortland
- Crispin
- Empire
- Fuji
- Gala
- Honeycrisp (495 trees!)
- Jonagold
- Jonagold Star
- Jonamac
- Lindamac
- McIntosh
- Pink Lady
- Red Delicious
- Yellow Delicious

The apple section of the orchard is still known as Hamilton Orchard.
History of our Peaches and Nectarines:
Ron Hamilton, son of James and brother of Rick, originally started the peaches in his backyard on Wind Hill Road in 1990. Ron and his wife, Karen, called it Wind Hill Orchard. Though the trees have moved around the corner to the same property as the apples, there is still a stand on Wind Hill Road. It is stocked almost every morning with freshly picked peaches and nectarines while in season. Even though the peach trees are now located on 7786 Steinsburg Road, the peach section of the orchard is still known as Wind Hill Orchard.
The peach orchard has 320 trees in 14 different varieties:

- Sentry (yellow peaches)
- Red Haven (yellow peaches)
- Blazingstar (yellow peaches)
- White Lady (white Peaches)
- Sunglo (nectarines)
- Flamin’ Fury- PF17 (yellow peaches)
- Sugar Giant (white peaches)
- Gloria (yellow peaches)
- Flamin’ Fury- PF24 (yellow peaches)
- Fantasia (nectarines)
- Messina (yellow peaches)
- Victoria (yellow peaches)
