Apple Sauce
This is the easiest and best apple sauce ever! All you need is a crock pot and apples. We suggest you use a mix of your favorite apples or all Fuji.
Ingredients:
Apples, peeled, cored and sliced
(No water or sugar needed.)
Directions:
Put apple slices in crock pot and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 hours, stirring occasionally. Add some cinnamon if that is what you like!
Apple, Kielbasa and Vegetable Bake
A super easy wonderful fall meal. I use whatever of the following ingredients I have on hand:
1 or 2 Apples (what ever kind you like best), cored and cut into chunks
1 Sweet Potato, peeled and chopped
1 Potato, chopped
1 Onion, chopped
1 package Beef Kielbasa, sliced
1-2 cups Brussels Sprouts, sliced in half
Olive Oil
Salt
Pepper
Combine all ingredients on a cookie sheet in 1 layer, mix in olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper and back at 350 degrees for about 20-25 minutes until potatoes are cooked through.
Caramel Apples
Small Empire apples are perfect for these!
I also dipped some of them in chopped walnuts.
Apple Bars
I use either Jonamac, Jonagold, McIntosh, Empire, Cortland or a mix of your favorites!
Cranberry, Sausage and Apple Stuffing
A perfect addition to Thanksgiving dinner! (Not to mention the apple pie…)
Apple Cider Doughnuts
I haven’t tried these but I do love doughnuts and they look delicious! I can’t wait to try them once we have our cider in mid-September.
